In the first part of the poem the author introduces a metaphor. A metaphor is a literary device through which the writer makes a comparison between two or more things or ideas. As this comparison is hidden or implicit, some effort from the reader is required to understand the statement. In addition, the sentences have not the common words "like" or "as" to stablish the relationship between ideas.

In this poem, the poet says that season are similar to not only a celebration, but also a Ferris wheel. These verses shows that the poet thinks that each season is consider an exciting and pleasurable moment in peoples' life, that each person has to take advantage of it and enjoy it.
