Your essay will probably not pass, because if you have alot of short sentances like the following:

Birds have feathers.

Then your essay contains no details or understanding, because if you simply say that birds have feathers your not telling the reader (s) why birds have feathers, which is the detail part, the understanding part is when if you have a very young reader wanting to know why birds have feathers then the reader (s) won't understand why birds have feathers. All in all, your essay will probably not pass
