The period starting from late 18th century is called the Romantic Period in English Literature. It extends to mid of the 19th century. This particular period in the English history saw the use of multiple narrators within a their write-ups. Interestingly, the Modern Period of English Literature, extending from late 19th century to early 20th century, saw a common utilization of this method of implanting multiple narratives in any plot.

Published in 1847, Wuthering Heights by Charlotte Bronte is a very famous example of a dual narrative, in which the writers deploy more than one narrator to explain multiple perspectives to a single approach. Therefore, it can be stated that the Modern Period made this type of narrative common.
