The modern model of the atom describes electrons in a little less specific detail than earlier models ded. Why is it what being less sure about the placement of electrons in an atom is actually an improvement over earlier models

    Because of modern physics.

    Explanation:

    The modern model of atom is an improvement because gave a more real model about the behaviour of electrons. The fact that electrons doesn't have predictable movement is huge, because fits better with experimental proves.

    Other models doesn't fit that well with experimental studies and that gap tend to be a problem in science.
