Odysseus is gloating over his discus victory.

    Explanation:

In this passage, we see Odysseus gloating over his success at throwing the discus. Odysseus is at the court of King Alcinous, who organizes a series of games for all of the people to partake in. However, Odysseus refuses, as he is not in the mood. He reminds everyone of how desperate he is to go home. However, Broadsea mocks and taunts Odysseus. To prove him wrong, Odysseus grabs a discus and throws it much farther than anyone else. He then gloats over his victory.
