    I think Shakespeare meant as long as you are breathing you have a right to live and nobody can put a barrier upon your discovery. For the eyes, I think he meant if you have eyes you have the right to discover and learn to understand the world.

    The poem lives as long as people are alive to read the words. The speaker's beloved lives forever in the lines of the poem.
