It was about a giant squid.

People did not ever think a giant squid existed in the sea. It is about how the scientists discovered the truth behind the mythical sea creature and no one believed it was real. When the crew saw something in the water, they went to the deck with torchlights. The creature looked something from the horror movie, they thought their boat would be damaged but the creature went past them. Eventually scientists found that it was a giant squid and in 1960, oceanographers developed technology to explore the deep sea and found it was a giant squid.
