Frida Kahlo is a well known painter. She painted many self portraits. Her most distinguishing features are her black bushy eyebrows. In the first line of this stanza, the speaker is comparing Frida's eyebrows to the black wing of a bird. A metaphor is a comparison between two unlike things without using like or as. The other options are not correct because they don't make sense based on the stanza from the sonnet.
