    From the excerpt of the "Song of Myself" by Walt Whitman, the lines that reflect the realist's view of death are the lines " I bequeath myself to the dirt to grow from the grass I love,

    If you want me again look for me under your boot-soles." These lines mean that the author faces death on a positive note that although they he will out of the living world soon, he will be remembered positively nevertheless.
