The assignment for this lesson is to write a short summary of a science fiction story that comes right from your imagination

On the cold rainy day, inside the residence of Arthur S. Walter, on a midsummer night, Arthur began to type furiously on the typewriter.

Date: Aug. 12th, 1994

Location: Wilson Drive

Then, there was a thud. The sound clattered against the window, prompting Arthur to glance up. He quietly walked towards the window, his eyes dilated, his hands beginning to tremble. He looked. There was nothing there. Chuckling to himself, he return back to the typewriter.

Double Homicide

On the evening of August 12th, 1994, couple Mrs. Anna Woods, along with Mr. Scott Woods, went on a drive heading northbound on Old Canyon Springs Road. During the drive, the party encountered a bear crossing the road, which Mrs. Woods struck with the vehicle. The bear was injuries, though not deceased. The bear then proceeded to attack the two, as the autopsy showed in the left-upper half of Mr. Woods, and the severed body of Mrs. Woods. Upon arrival, I found the bear, which still was alive, and attempted to flee the sight. This is when I pulled my firearm and discharged 6 shots, I estimate 4 hit. The bear vanished into the forest, and I inspected the car, finding both Mrs. Anna Woods and Mr. Scott Woods deceased.

But Arthur knew better. He inhaled deeply, letting the air to fill his empty soul. He knew that the report lacked the real information, the information he knew the public couldn't handle. It was in fact no bear that was struck, but something else, something entirely out of this universe. He still saw the green blood, splattered across the windshield. He saw the claw marks were nothing of a bear, they were too massive. He saw how he saw something dart from the scene, something far faster than any animal on this planet. What struck him the most, was the mysterious men in black suits, with expressions of nothing, come to take over the crime scene. How fast they cleaned the site, struck him beyond belief. It was also miraculous that the car caught fire not long after their departure. It all happened so fast, such in a blur. It was when a man, with a black pinstriped fedora and black suit, rested his hand on his shoulder, that he knew this was something far beyond his understanding.

THUD.

The sound snapped Arthur back into reality.
