    If u have to change it in indirect speech it will be like this,

    The fruit seller said that the mangoes sold at forty rupees a kilo.

    That means they sell at 56 cents a kilo which a kilo can be converted to pounds and that would be 2.2 lbs so that means the mangos sell at 56cents at 2.2lbs
