    The ideas about hatred conveyed in lines 6-11 of "Hatred" denoted that Hatred is older and younger than other feelings; that hatred gives birth to what gives it life; sleeplessness feeds it.

    Explanation:

    The poem "Hatred" by Wislawa Symborska show a tone of mock adulation. Although the poem talks about hatred and it's growth and method of operation, it also lurks a purpose of exposing the evils of hatred. line 11 shows that sleep make us irritable and physically weak but that hatred gains strenght from it.

    The poet suggest Hatred as a unique feeling that is brought upon an individual. he also believes that Hatred is a creative force which no one can know what it is capable of. He made use of personification in the poem.

    The poet believes that our violent desires will end the world by saying that both fire and ice are destructive. in this case fire stands for the heat of desire and ice stands for hatred. Hate is given different human attributes through out the poem.
