The Grimms embellished stories with more details in their final editions because they changed the original oral stories that they had heard and add situations that were created by them selves. For example in the original tale of Snow White, the dwarfs were not dwarfs they where just thieves and the witch instead of talking to the mirror she talked to the sun. They also deleted from the original stories, the inappropiate lenguage and the situations that were more for an adult public, like the bloody situations.
