    Because the people of the victim nations were suffering from this Fascist regime. Roosevelt insisted that people in all nations of the world shared Americans' entitlement to four freedoms: the freedom of speech and expression, the freedom to worship God in his own way, freedom from want and freedom from fear. He thought that during that crisis when the four freedom of these countries are hampered America should not sit neutrally.

    Therefore, America need to be involved in the conflict considering the the suffering of people in many nations.
