The letter is written to Jane Austen.

    Explanation:

    Dear Jane Austen,

After reading several of his works I have observed his wit in making serious criticisms of the position and the way that women have been treated within a patrial society and as a result, it makes women's lives much more difficult than it should be.

His works have placed these criticisms in a very punctual way and with very good humor, which makes his narratives so fun and enlightening, even when it comes to subjects like the pressure that society puts on women to keep up appearances and get married when they are still they are young, making those who did not want or have not had the chance to marry early be the subject of gossip and jokes. I would like to inform you that, although much has changed, our society still pressures women and puts them in a fragile situation.

As I read your works, I wonder what inspired you to portray the feminine positioning so well. Was your narrative based on your own experiences? Would you have been the victim of hectic talkings like your characters were? Although your works do not really answer these questions, I hope they saw you as a strong woman, with a brilliant mind, as you were, as someone weak and submissive to any marriage.
