Explain and give an example of the word Allusion

    Allusion means to refer to something without actually mentioning it. an example of that could be when MLK Jr. said "Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation." making an allusion of when Abraham Lincoln said "Four score and seven years ago." in the Gettysburg address

    (I've only just started learning allusions but i tried ...)
