Harper leaned against the seat, the soft cushions enfolding his head in an easy embrace. The motion of the

train slowly rocked him back and forth and his eyes grew

heavy, his breathing regular. A slight breeze from an open

window fluttered through his hair, and the warmth of the

car covered him like a blanket. In the corner of his mind,

the sounds of the other passengers chimed like a babbling

brook, providing the perfect background for sleep.
