Why do you think divorces have increased in the last fifty years? What factors may have influenced this? Do you think people think about marriage and divorce differently today?

    I think, as in historical times, if you were 'divorced' then it was shamed, and it was frowned on. So then they (you would think) would wait until they knew it was all perfect. Yet now, if you get divorced it's of the norm. So people think of it differently now.
