When Dr. Lanyon died in two weeks time, what did utterson recieve?

Less than two weeks later, Lanyon dies. Utterson receives a package addressed to him by Lanyon. It contains a letter and an envelope, which the letter says is not to be opened until Jekyll dies or disappears. This reference to disappearance again makes Uttersoncurious, but he puts the package in his safe.
