consider the idea of a confession. in our modern society, why would someone confess to a crime if he or she didn't commit it?

    well, they most likely confessed to a crime he or she didn't commit to protect someone or something. but it is usually someone. like their child or wife/husband.

    They would do it because the officer would probably be pressuring them to tell an answer.
