    The myths are heavily influenced by the culture from which they come from. Every culture has its own unique aspects, so the myths are a reflection of it. The way the people live, their religious beliefs, their interaction with the natural world, their perceptions of things, the area in which they live, things that happened but could not be explained, have all defined the myths that have come out of a particular culture. There are also big similarities though between some myths in different cultures, and the main reason behind that is that those cultures have diverged from an ancestral common culture, and over time kept some traits, but developed some new ones as well.
