    Trait: Characteristic, habit, or trend

    Feature: Physical form, structure.

    Explanation:

A trait is something that a character may have within such as intelligence, habit of spinning a pen, or wearing a specific style of clothes.

A feature on the other hand can be a character's body proportions, their hair color, something that makes them stand out among other characters.
