Why doesn't hamlet kill king Claudius when the king is kneeling?

    hamlet doesn't kill claudius because he is kneeling in prayer. hamlet believed that killing claudius while he prayed would gain his uncle immediate entrance into heaven. which he doesn't want to see claudius in heaven, he wants him to pay for the death of his father.
