How are the attitudes towards marriage and women different now in Shakespeare's time

    In shakespeares times, women were gainfully employed, expected to run households, supervise servants, and be in arranged marriages, they also had no rights. Now women can be their own boss, partake in any job they would like, and have all rights as of men do. In the US arranged marraiges are not legal now.
