The Naturalist intelligence is one of the 9 types of intelligence according to Howard Gardner. The 9 types in his Theory of Mulitple Intelligence are: Logical-Mathematical, Linguistic, Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Musical, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Visual-Aesthetic and Naturalistic.

The Naturalist intelligence refers to how aware and sensitive a person is towards nature and the world around them. A person who has high Naturalist intelligence will be very interested in the environment. They will be very aware of natural changes, animals, plants, and everything relating to the natural world. People with this type of intelligence often become biologists, zoologists, botanists, veterinarians, etc.
