Based on the Billy and Udry article, how are selection, deselection, and influence different in the way they impact greater similarity among adolescents who are friends compared to those who are non-friends?

    The process of selection (finding other like you), deselection (excluding others not like you). As friends socialize and find people with similar circumstances, they have much influence.

    Those who are non-friends do not have the same amount of social interactions and therefore less time to share common experiences.
