There are several reasons why you might have to revise your thesis. You should revise your thesis if it does not directly pertain to your gathered notes. The notes that you have gathered include the information that should guide your research and your writing. If these notes are not directly related to the thesis, then the thesis should be modified. A thesis should also be revised if it is unclear, confusing or biased.
