Authors can resort to different methods when writing biographies, for example, they can represent the events truthfully, with all the characters and events taken from the real life of the protagonist, with only minor unintentional deviations. However, some biographies resemble fiction in that they are very different from the real events where often characters are invented and events sometimes do not resemble the true version of events at all, the narrator thus decides to approach the biography with more creativity and imagination and fewer facts. These biographies are still considered biographies because these real-life facts serve as a base for fiction.
