How do I make this sentence clear and not vague?

Mr. Williams and Mr. Peter went to have dinner in his car.

    In one of two ways (Depending on whose car dinner was had in):

    Mr. Williams went to have dinner in his car with Mr. Peter. Mr Peter went to have dinner in his car with Mr. Williams.
