    Climax

    Explanation:

This is the climax of the story. In the story "The Strangers that Came to Town," we meet the Duvitches. This is a family of Croatian immigrants who are not accepted in the American community to which they have arrived. The narrator similarly rejects them initially, and even goes as far as poisoning the fish that the family have caught. However, the climax of the story comes when the narrator realizes that Mr. Duvitch (and by extension his family) is actually a nice person who does not deserve this treatment.
