    The conflict between nature and human can be seen when John was faced with the wild dogs. Wild dogs were most dangerous and they hunt in a pack. So, when he faced them he tried to hid himself.

    A sense of fear versus a desire to grow.

    Fear versus desire to grow was seen in the story when John he wanted to go to Dead Place which was forbidden, where spirits and demons live. So, John had to overcome his fear to go that forbidden place.

    This conflict can be found when John was stopped from revealing that gods looked just like men.
