Identify the problem. We use media to keep up-to-date with the world and our families, but are we addicted? We are accostumed to receiving notifications all the time, and our brains may be wired to constantly check. Make sure you're not checking your phone for instant gratification! Things that you can do right now; turn off notifications, set times to go on "Do not disturb" mode, or place in drawer so that way it is out of sight and out of reach.

Limit time spent on social media. This is one of the most harmful and easiest things to do. For example, if we average 2 hours of social media per day, for the next decade, that means we will spend around 7,120 hours on social media. This can be controlled by changing the settings on your phone to alert you of your screentime, or download an app that documents your screen time.

Learn to be bored again. We are living in the most entertaining decade in human history, we can multitask, distract ourselves and do almost anything with little effort. However, we resort to media because we find boredom uncomfortable. This is harmful because this interfers with our focus, and limits our creativity. If we do not give our minds a break from constant, mental distractions, we no longer have the drive to be creative anymore. Take a walk, learn to meditate, adopt a new hobby, etc. Instead of watching people create things online, become the person that creates things.

By not forgiving who you are, by not combining yourself with the out side groups, if you feel like you are you, you are special, we all now that everyone is not the same, and that can you only feel your self but if you can't feel how everyone else feels about you, why be the same person, why try to fit? Be you, Be different, and be happy because at the end of the day, what matters is how happy you were, how nice your life was, How You you were whenever you were growing up, and especially how much the outside world affected you and your perception of this nice place, if you are you nothing can stop you, if you are someone who likes to be with people, that's good, just don't be like them, so in less words, if you wanna be happy, experience the world by yourself, don't let this media, internet thing fill your brain with stupid stuff that are not even true, and if they are, instead of just searching up what you like, focus more on what you don't like so that at the end of the day you can go and explore what you really like, by your self ...
