The resolution for "All Summers in a Day" is when the children allow Margot to leave the closet. The problem/conflict in the story is that Margo lived on Earth. She remembers how the sun looks. An example, is in the beginning when she recites the poem about the sun. She knows how the sun looks. This then causes jealousy to grow inside of the kids. The jealousy, which then leads them to locking her in the closet. So, she won't experience to see the sun again. This conflict is only resolved when the children realize what they have deprived her of and open the door to face the result of their actions.
