An Epsilon is the bottom of the hierarchy found in Huxley's dystopian society. The novel explains this class as the working class, they dress in black and are more or less identical to one another. They are conditioned to be mass produced and to mature quickly. Their minds are suppressed in embryotic development to create a sense of peace and content in their inferior position.
