    1) Cassius understands that Brutus will never act dishonorably. Thus, he must deceive him.

    2) Brutus believes that a man must be noble above all else. The fact that he is so quick to believe what Cassius tells him allows us to infer that he is rash in his actions and easily manipulated when faced with things that oppose his own beliefs.
