What do you think of Jonas's community? What words might you use to describe it? Give reasons for your answers

Selfish - the robbed the community people of the experience of simple things such as snow!

This is supposed to be your own opinion.

But here's mine.

Jonas's community has a lot of control over the people in it. The people live very mundane, organized, scheduled lives that do not offer much choice to them. The people, however, seem not to mind. They don't even mind when they have to kill elderly or people who have committed a sin 3 times. They don't have true feelings, as the Giver and Jonas discussed, because they do not have the memories.
