The Odyssey reveals the character traits of its epic hero, Odysseus. In each section of the Odyssey, list one personality trait that is revealed about Odysseus and then describe what influence-positive or negative-that trait has on his quest to reach his home in Ithaca.

    For the first part, Odysseus was shown as a boastful person since he always brag about his defeat of the Cyclops. His greed was shown on the second part. This trait is also negative since he wasted one year instead of going to his wife. The last part shows the superiority of the skills of Odysseus in terms of fighting, intelligence and wittiness
