    Generally the debate programs have 2 main purposes: 1) to provide a clear idea of both parties or sides (Even if its a presidential debate or a school debate) so that the audience could be persuaded or convinced and decide for which part they will support and 2) Try to solve important matters and find the correct way not only to discuss but to get to an agreement or decision.
