Why does Odysseus leave Circes island? He longs to visit the land of the dead. He constantly weeps for his homeland. He angers Circe. His ship is finally ready to sail. His men beg him to leave.

    b/c he learns that his wife thinks he is dead and is going to remarry. He also wanted to leave because he missed his wife Penelope and his son Telemachus.
