    The circumference of a circle is (pi) x (diameter).

    Diameter = (circumference) / (pi)

    Radius = 1/2 of the diameter = (circumference) / (2 pi)

    = (44cm) / (2 pi) = 22cm/pi = 7 cm (rounded)

    The area of a circle is (pi) x (radius) ² =

    (pi) x (22cm/pi) ² =

    (22cm) ²/pi =

    (484 cm²) / pi = 154.1 cm² (rounded)
