A sonnet dating back from the Occitan language. It has a rhyme scheme of a-b-a-b, a-b-a-b, c-d-c-d-c-d. This type of poem typically concerns lots of information on the War of Sicilian Vespers which was a conflict of sicily in Italy where Occitan sonnets originally came from.
