Percentage of sales tax in Massachusetts = 6%

Cost of the television = $1000

    Then

Amount of tax in Massachusetts = 1000 * (6/100) dollars

    = 60 dollars

    Then

Cost of television in Massachusetts after tax = 1000 + 60 dollars

    = 1060 dollars

Cost of television in New Hampshire is $1000 after tax, as there is no sales tax.

    Then

Amount of savings in New Hampshire = 1060 - 1000 dollars

    = 60 dollars

So 60 dollars will get saves if the television is bought in New Hampshire.
