Read this line from the prologue of Romeo and Juliet.     Romeo and Juliet was a tragedy. In the prologue there's this line-->>

    "A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life[ ... ]"

    We can immediately tell that someone is going to die as it says that they take their life. Another detail is that when it says star crossed it's referring to bad luck. From the very beginning, Romeo and Juliet were doomed.
