What do the greasers offer johnny that his parents do not? how is this ironic. By the way this book is called the outsiders

    The greasers offered Johnny a place to be, and someone to care about him. This is ironic because parents are supposed to care about their child, but it seems as if johnny's friends, who are "Hoods", care more about him.

    I actually read this book a while ago.
