    D. They often contain invented (nonsensical) words. A good example of a nonsense poem would be "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carrol, as it talks about jabberwockys (or jabberwockies?) and jubjub birds, momo wraths, tum tum trees, the frumious bandersnatch, etc
