    Well since there are not any words italicized, I just reworded them the way I would do it.

    1. In advance, Mary gave us a warning that she was going to set a new record for reading the most books.

    2. Together with two others, excluding Tom, we all enjoyed the concert.

    3. Until next Wednesday, I will not play softball.
