Which statement describes the revision, if any is needed, that corrects the sentence? "I want to go to the beach this weekend," she said, "unless, of course, it rains." A. No revision is necessary. B. The period belongs outside of the quotation marks. C. Unless should be capitalized. D. Delete the comma after the word weekend.

    "No revision is necessary" for this sentence. When a piece of speech like this is interrupted by named the speaker you don't need to capitalize the first letter of the second half.
