I've come to terms with my dreaminess, my absent-mindedness-well, okay, my ditziness! Why do I characterize myself this way? A few examples might make this description very clear. They might include such mild eccentricities as mismatched socks and paint smudges on jeans and in hair. Or I could cite more embarrassing moments, perhaps having to do with personal hygiene or misunderstandings. But why bother with the descriptions; you've probably already grasped the idea!

Which of these phrases best describes the author's voice?

A. somber and weighty

B. driven and intense

C. neutral and lifeless

D. humorous and informal
