    Macbeth is ambitious, at first soft, later turning into an egotistical, heartless and greedy monster and easily gave in to pressure. His ambition made him kill the king. he didn't want to do it at first, he was pressured by Lady Macbeth to do so. he continued by killing Banquo, and later everyone in Macduff's household in an effort to stay king, but ultimately got killed by Macduff at the end of the play
