    Irony and the fallibility of man. The first statement is true, in many ways. The evil of Dr. Jekyll could not be contained and eventually led to his demise. The irony, though, is that to the men searching for Dr. Jekyll, his evil has found the ultimate hiding place. For this reason, the statement could also be perceived as untrue--and the person stating it, therefore, fallible.
